Adoption Information

Adoption Process

♥ Only applicants for pet only homes are being accepted.

♥ There is no waiting list.

♥ I do not take deposits.

♥ Availability is first come first serve.

♥ Babies are posted for reservations at 2-4 weeks of age.

♥ Babies must be adopted in pairs or more.

♥ Adopting from more than one litter is ok, I raise them together.

♥ I post a "heads up" on Instagram the day I will be posting them. Then I post on Instagram, Facebook, and then send out the mailing list newsletter. (On my front page.) The easiest way to reserve quickly is to keep notifications for my Instagram on.

♥ Certain litters are assessed for longer for various reasons like selecting the right ESA rat for our veteran program, watching newer lines for longer, watching development and type longer in order to select rats we would like to keep for our breeding program etc.

♥ After you have put in an application, please be patient. I go through applications one by one and sometimes it can take me a few days to reply. I reply to all applications either way so that you're informed.

♥ Payment will be due as soon as you get an approval email from me. Then your reservation will be complete and I will update the website to reflect it within 24-48hrs.

♥ The last step is the week before their pickup date (check your litter's green stoplight date for the date they can start going home) when I send out the Google Calendar link to select a date and time that works for you. I offer about a week of variety to accommodate. If you have an extenuating circumstance like driving across states, please let me know. I can often work something out with notice.

♥ All that's left is pickup! Pickup is in Wildomar, CA. Please read the info given in the Google Calendar link so you have the address, landmark, and my phone number. Feel free to text me any traffic updates or other issues. And then keep my number to spam me with pics of your rats and their new names later! You can also contact me with random questions you may have once you get them home.

Adoption Agreement

♥ When adopting, you will automatically be agreeing to the terms in the contract that you will properly care for the baby and not breed the baby.

♥ You will also have a two week health guarantee.

Pricing & Payment

♥ Pricing is according to a base price plus any specific traits.

♥ Prices range $80-$120 per rat.

♥ Prices are shown in the info below each baby on the litter page.

♥ Payment is due upfront when your application is accepted.

♥ I accept all the following payments:

♥ There are no refunds.

♥ Please make sure you're prepared to adopt the rats you apply for.

Transport

♥ My rattery is a closed rattey for the health of my rats.

♥ I meet locally in Wildomar, CA for pickups.

♥ At this time, I do not deliver or ship.
